Collection Merchandising Assistant (F/M/D)
The Collection Merchandising Assistant for Shoes and Accessories will support the product development and merchandising teams in planning, organizing, and executing seasonal collections. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments to ensure the timely and successful launch of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Seasonal Line Planning Support
- Assist in the development and execution of seasonal line plans for shoes and accessories, ensuring alignment with the brand's vision and market trends.
- Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to curate a balanced and cohesive product assortment.
- Critical Path Management
- Under the supervision of the Senior Collection Merchandiser, develop and manage the critical path timeline, ensuring all key deadlines are met.
- Schedule and coordinate important meetings, keeping relevant stakeholders informed and involved.
- Monitor progress and proactively address potential delays or issues.
- Merchandising Tools Management
- Maintain and update merchandising tools, including line lists, range plans, and collection briefs, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
- Ensure all product information is current and accurately reflected across all platforms.
- Product Meeting Coordination
- Prepare materials and agendas for product meetings, such as sketch reviews and proto reviews.
- Document meeting outcomes and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
- Sample Management
- Oversee the management of all product samples, including tracking, organization, and distribution.
- Ensure samples are available for meetings, presentations, and marketing needs.
- Market Trends and Competitive Analysis
- Stay informed about current market trends, consumer preferences, and the competitive landscape.
- Provide insights and recommendations to inform product development and merchandising strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development and launch processes.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments to achieve common goals.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in product coordination or merchandising within the luxury fashion industry.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for luxury fashion and understanding of the shoes and accessories market.
