The Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for contributing towards and implementing the marketing and communications strategy for Amanoi , including managing all of the English-speaking social platforms. This role is responsible for creating impactful and engaging social content and campaigns to ensure social media feeds are elevated, curated and reflect our brand DNA. In addition, assisting with delivery of Resort PR campaigns and media events, content creation, delivery and analysis, with the aim of ensuring a well-structured, aligned and smooth dissemination of Resort news.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In liaison with Corporate PR/Marketing, be the point of contact for Resort media enquiries and respond to all requests in an efficient and timely manner.
  • To promote and safeguard the Resort brand image through ensuring a positive, consistent and accurate representation at all times – externally and internally within the organization.
  • Day to day management of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter etc). Scheduling and publishing all content, alongside responding and engaging with audiences on all platforms.
  • Drive the strategy, growth of channels and engagement of followers.
  • Develop and execute a multi-platform social media plan, which integrates Aman’s brand communications and content themes into clear and engaging stories to share with customers at relevant touchpoints through their journey and that work’s in tandem with our communications strategy and ensuring alignment to Corporate Media Strategy.
  • Work closely with Corporate PR for influencer management including hosting of group media trips.
  • Manage media follow-ups post trips and any relevant chasing of owed features of key messages for even news distribution.
  • Work closely with the Brand Director on the photography and videography strategy for social media.
  • Writing copy for social media channels and responding to any comments placed online.
  • Be responsible for creative press release writing and in sourcing newsworthy information for press on new promotions and stories, ensuring Corporate Marketing are aware of wider newsworthy stories.
  • Overseeing weekly and monthly social and media reporting and delivering reports to a variety of functions including corporate office.
  • Constant competitor analysis, keeping ahead of travel trends, destination news and current trends across social media marketing, including the tools and technology used to improve communications with customers.
  • Be responsible for the property PR/Marketing budget.
  • Management of the online reputation of the Resort and provide property responses as appropriate.
  • Responsible for design of all on-property materials, in accordance with Aman brand guidelines and templates.
  • Source print production suppliers to achieve optimum balance of quality and cost.
  • Source compelling news and stories to feed campaigns and promotions across channels.
  • Manage all copywriting for the property (internal and outsourced).
  • Establishing a network of vendors in-market – graphic designers, copywriters, photographers.
  • Drive travel trade marketing efforts in support of Amanoi, collaborating with the sales team.
  • Manage the CMS of Amanoi website to ensure content is updated across languages.
  • Review how MICE, Celebrations and Families verticals can be enhanced for the property, targeting these specific segments.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment
  • Fluency in English (Additional languages preferred), Vietnamese mother tongue
  • University Degree or equivalent required
  • Progressive career path and acknowledged track record within Sales & Marketing in the luxury hospitality field 
  • Ability to work with multi culture environment with an engaging personality, should be hands-on, yet strategic and can conduct business at the highest level with senior executives and local dignitaries
  • First class presentation and communication skills with a balanced sensitivity to cultural issues
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
  • Adaptable & flexible with the capacity to set high goals and standards for an integrated collaborative approach between departments
  • Bottom-line oriented with emphasis on quality guest-service and team-building
