Assistant Merchandiser / Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities

• Merchandiser for apparel and garment sourcing;
• Responsible for sourcing, vendor and order management;
• Responsible for merchandising activities, purchase order execution, follow up with buyers and suppliers, monitor shipment fulfilment;
• Handle sample & order follow up & documentation;
• Support merchandising process on product development, photo shooting and sampling;
• Communicate closely with factories to manage and optimize order and production schedules;
• Follow-up and coordinate shipments, transfers, replenishment and repairs to retail stores;
• Provide support to merchandising team on daily operation;
• Well understand the merchandising flow, execute from Development to Bulk shipment procedure.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years solid merchandising experience in garment, textile or fashion industry;
• Experienced in managing all product development cycles in different woven categories (jeans, jackets, shirts, dress, tee… etc.);
• High Diploma or Associate Degree in Fashion and Textiles & Clothing or related disciplines;
• A good team player and able to manage multiple tasks with accuracy;
• Good interpersonal skills & willing to travel;
• Collaborative and handle ad hoc duties as assigned by management;
• Good communication skills with cross functional partners;
• Good time management and project execution;
• Fluent written and spoken English & Chinese;
• Proficient in Microsoft application, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook;
• Passion in Garment Manufacturing Industry;
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandiser.
