In this role, you will partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to develop and execute business strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, learning and development, and change leadership. This role is located at our New York headquarters, located in the TriBeCa design district.
Responsibilities
- Partner across all levels of the organization to retain, develop, and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, objectives, and key priorities, team members and dynamics.
- Use data and business insights to proactively identify issues and opportunities, prioritize with leadership, and work with cross-functional partners to develop practical solutions to improve performance, retention, and employee experience.
- Guide recruiting processes across internal and external stakeholders, ensuring incoming talent is aligned to company goals for performance and culture.
- Build frameworks to drive robust performance and career progression discussions, including structuring leveling guides by function to guide promotion decisions and support professional development across the company.
- Build a learning & development program that accelerates growth and supports talent retention objectives.
- Define compensation & rewards strategy that attracts and retains top talent.
- Drive the evolution of HR programs and policies as needed to support total employee experience and align to the evolution of the business.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in a People function.
- Demonstrated experience in building trusted relationships with senior business leaders, effectively coaching and advising leaders on organizational issues and team challenges.
- Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking, with strong communication skills for influencing at all organizational levels, coaching leaders, fostering a positive team environment, and utilizing data insights.
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge and experience in core people functions including strategic people planning, talent management and development, learning and development, engagement and retention, compensation, HR systems, and employee relations
