As our VP of Product & Merchandising, you will be responsible for delivering Maiden Home’s long-term product strategy, which will see us transform into a multi-category brand and complete destination for the home. Overseeing a multidisciplinary team of designers, strategists, and operational leaders, you will build the engine that will deliver exciting, brand-accretive launches and large category expansion opportunities.

This role is located at our New York headquarters, located in the TriBeCa design district.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and successfully execute Maiden Home's long-term product roadmap, delivering consistently high-quality launches that are accretive to brand, top, and bottom line.
  • Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team to deliver on ambitious goals, across Product Strategy, Design, Product Development, Sourcing, and Quality Assurance.
  • In collaboration with Operations, architect new supply chain strategies and forge new vendor relationships to support your product expansion plans.
  • In collaboration with Creative, Brand, and Sales, ensure that new product introductions are supported with strong storytelling and product marketing that delivers on both commercial and brand objectives.
  • Shape and build out the Product & Merchandising team to support your vision, recruiting all-stars that will shape the future of our business.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of Product leadership experience at high-growth, brand-first companies.
  • Exceptional manager with a track record of nurturing and developing talent; experience managing managers and scaling culture across larger teams.
  • Skilled relationship manager with experience establishing and nurturing strong, productive relationships with business counterparties.
  • Superior analytical skills with a natural ability to use data to tell a story.
  • Appreciation for world-class brand building.
  • Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multitasking abilities.
