Accessories and Footwear Designer

You will work closely with our Creative Director to create unique concepts and innovative designs across footwear and handbag categories. The role is highly cross-functional across product, manufacturing, merchandising, and brand strategy.

Responsibilities

• Pitching creative ideas that enhance projects.
• Researching raw materials and sourcing material references.
• Designing and developing accessories and footwear that show brand identity.
• Developing detailed range plans and monthly product drop schedules.
• Being responsible from conception up to delivery: Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from research through design, development, costing, and into commercialization.
• Producing all 2D concept drawings and mock-ups.
• Receiving and executing feedback quickly and proactively throughout the design stage.
• Producing tech packs/technical drawings and art working prints.
• Liaising with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Review all prototypes/samples and give feedback to manufacturers.
• Preparing collection notes for PR and Marketing.
• Review photoshoot samples to ensure they are accurate.
• Working on special projects where required.

Requirements

• Degree in Design.
• 4+ years experience designing, preferably in luxury.
• Knowledge of leather, fabric, and non-traditional materials and general production techniques.
• Able to translate ideas into technical specification packs.
• Strong capabilities in CAD programs, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing internationally.
• Hyper-detailed and strong presentation skills.
• Self-starter with strong initiative, ownership, and accountability for the brand.
• Desire to be a part of a small team, flexible, and has the ability to pivot as needed to accomplish company goals.
• Interest in Contemporary Culture: Fashion, Design, Music, Photography, and Art.
