You will be responsible for

  • supporting the team in the interpretive planning process for proposed exhibitions that connect with target audiences, working in collaboration with curators across multiple disciplines, exhibition managers and designers;
  • the process of interpretive planning that illustrate the key message and visitor experience envisioned by the team, and ensure communication of the plan across different teams
  • help delivery of exhibition interpretive elements such as – text, interactives, audio guides, tours and other in gallery visitor experiences that support the interpretive plan
  • support the text writing process for exhibition, such as developing the text strategies, working on labels in both English and Chinese, and managing the timeline and workflow with writers and editors
  • provide administrative support for procedures and processes related to interpretive planning.

You should

  • possess a recognised university degree, preferably in Museum Education, Museum Studies, Cultural Studies, Fine Arts, Design, Architecture, Moving Images, Creative Media, Cultural Management, Journalism, Communication, Creative media or equivalent;
  • have at least 2 years of work experience in assisting implementation of learning and interpretation programmes, preferably in an art and cultural organisation;
  • be highly-organised, detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently and cooperatively with others in a fast-paced environment;
  • have strong project coordination skills, research skills, problem-solving skills as well as administrative skills; and
  • have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
