Purple is seeking an enthusiastic, and entrepreneurial Digital Senior Account Executive to join its thriving beauty division. This role will be responsible for developing and executing dynamic influencer campaigns for a variety of beauty clients, leading on organic influencer strategy and events and providing industry insight and recommendation to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in influencer campaign management, strategy, performance analysis and bring creative and analytical skills to the table. The Digital Senior Account Executive will also possess strong writing skills and be able to pro-actively propose new ideas and provide leadership to the team. PURPLE represents a number of luxury beauty brands; including, Augustinus Bader, Dr. Jart, ILIA, Makeup By Mario, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Sulwhasoo, Refy and more.

Responsibilities

DIGITAL STRATEGY

  • Ideate and execute innovative influencer marketing strategies tailored to beauty clients, leveraging the latest trends and technologies
  • Serve as the team’s authority on influencer marketing and social news, providing insights on platform updates, emerging trends, and industry best practices
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure planning and strategy recommendations are cohesive and in line with the brand’s vision
  • Bring dynamic, creative insight to the agency through personal contacts network and interests, resulting in new business leads and the expansion of the agency’s influencer network
  • Lead planning and execution of influencer-driven product launches, social campaigns, and experiential influencer-focused events

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT

  • Oversee and implement paid influencer campaigns from start to finish, ranging from nano to macro creators for US & Canada
  • Lead the team on influencer selection, contract negotiation, budget management, content review and post-campaign reporting
  • Develop campaign briefs and collaborate with influencers to create authentic and engaging content
  • Ensure contracting and negotiation process runs smoothly and is mutually beneficial with a focus on detail and accuracy
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources and recommendations to achieve client KPIs
  • Manage affiliate programming and implementation for clients when necessary, ensuring effective integration with influencer strategies

INFLUENCER RELATIONSHIPS + NETWORK

  • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with influencers from mid-tier to macro level, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in the beauty space
  • Provide counsel for clients and teams and identify top KOLs across categories (beauty, fashion, lifestyle, sports, VIP) and ability to provide curated and very tailored recommendations per brand needs
  • Continuously build the team’s network of influencers, ensuring all recommendations align with client needs and goals

AFFILIATE MARKETING

  • Establish and implement affiliate marketing strategies to drive growth and customer acquisition for clients
  • Create strong relationships with affiliates to generate results for clients
  • Analyze performance and progress to understand the affiliate market landscape, suggesting any changes for improvement or industry developments

ORGANIC GIFTING STRATEGY

  • Oversee and manage client organic gifting strategy and execution
  • Propose creative gifting ideas that align with client vision and budgets
  • Track and measure the impact of gifting initiatives on brand awareness and engagement

REPORTING & ANALYTICS

Analyze influencer campaigns and provide client with clear and measurable results and key learningsUtilize analytics and reporting tools to and track KPIs and ROI

TREND & COMPETITOR ANALYSIS

  • Actively monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and platform innovations, delivering insights to clients and internal teams

  • Maintain a strong awareness of top beauty and lifestyle influencers across key platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging channels

  • Ability to speak to clients with a strong POV on the current state of influencer marketing

TEAM MENTORSHIP

Manage, coach and motivate junior members of the team to ensure day to day operations run smoothly and PR results are delivered; while supporting them in their growth to the next level

Skills and Experience

  • B.S./B.A. in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or related area
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of influencer marketing/public relations experience, preferably within the beauty industry
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience drafting and editing contracts and deliverables
  • Experience managing influencer campaigns and budgetsTeam player who thrives on collaboration with team members of all levels
  • A self- starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong working knowledge of social media platforms and industry trendsExcellent influencer and agent contacts in the beauty, fashion or lifestyle spaceProficiency in data analytics platforms (ex: Tribe Dynamics, Lefty or other platforms)Proficiency in Microsoft Office
