Purple is looking for a Digital Account Manager to join our growing digital team. This is an exciting opportunity for an agency-experienced Senior Account Executive ready to step up and lead digital campaigns across FMCG, beauty, lifestyle, and wellness brands.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in digital and social media, with a strategic mindset, strong client management skills, and a passion for content, influencer marketing, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Content

  • Develop and execute digital and social media strategies aligned with brand objectives.
  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars across multiple clients.
  • Oversee creative ideation, working closely with internal creative teams.
  • Utilize social media tools (e.g., Later) for scheduling and content management.
  • Track competitive insights and emerging digital trends to drive innovation.
  • Manage agency-owned social media content and website updates.

Client & Account Management

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for key clients, building strong relationships.
  • Lead client meetings, WIP calls, and reporting, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Work cross-functionally with PR, creative, and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Support the senior team with new business pitches and proposals.

Campaign Execution & Digital PR

  • Manage influencer marketing programs, from outreach to content execution.
  • Oversee social media community management, partnerships, and promotions.
  • Lead digital PR initiatives across UK and global markets.
  • Guide and mentor the Digital Executive to ensure high-quality output.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • 3+ years of agency experience (AE, SAE, or AM) working with FMCG, beauty, lifestyle, or wellness brands.
  • Strong content planning and calendar management expertise.
  • Passion for digital innovation, social media, and storytelling.
  • Confident communicator with excellent copywriting skills.
  • Data-driven mindset, able to analyze performance and optimize strategy.
  • Established industry contacts with influencers and bloggers.
  • Experience with SEO, paid social, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
