Description PURPLE is actively seeking bright and enthusiastic interns to join the Business Development team in our New York office!
The right candidates must have a genuine passion for the Public Relations and Marketing business in support of Luxury Lifestyle, Fashion, and/or Beauty brands. We want people who are genuinely tapped into culture and have basic industry knowledge of the most interesting brands within our departments. They must also be organized, driven, creative, and willing to learn. Our Business Development interns will learn top-level strategic communications by working with senior teams and gaining invaluable experience.
Key Responsibilities
The Business Development interns will support with the following:
- Support on new business opportunities, working closely with the Senior Director, Manager, and designated individuals across divisions and departments.
- Conduct research and fact-finding for key new business leads.
- Participate in idea generation brainstorms, capturing relevant thoughts for proposals, and developing creative activations and singular alignments for brands looking to engage our services.
- Collaborate with the team on proposal documents and developing decks (creating templates, sourcing images, and formatting text).
- Organize and reformat case studies, compiling information using reports from the account teams.
- Support on other ad-hoc projects as needed by the business.
You will be given and present an end-of-term Internship Project, on which the PURPLE Team will guide and assist you. This mock activity will support you in building your personal portfolio while helping to infuse key learnings and takeaways from your internship.

- Experience with MS Office 365.
Intern Payment and Working Hours This is an unpaid internship. We will provide experience that meets the criteria for academic credit and will complete any paperwork provided by the student to obtain course credit from an accredited academic institution. You must be able to work in the office a minimum of 15 hours per week.
