Role The Design Coordinator – Europe plays a vital role in supporting Aman’s Development and Technical Services team by managing key aspects of the design process across a portfolio of luxury hotel, resort, and residential projects. Based in Dubai and reporting to the Director of Design & Technical Services – Europe, this role supports the implementation of Aman’s design vision and standards, working closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design activities across internal departments and external project teams.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on key action points.
  • Track design schedules, deliverables, and milestones using project management tools such as Smartsheet.
  • Organise and maintain project documentation including drawing logs, comments, and approvals.
  • Assist in the review and coordination of consultant submissions, reports, and material boards.
  • Collaborate with corporate and external teams to manage design information flow.
  • Prepare and support presentations, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor adherence to Aman’s brand standards across all phases of design and development.
  • Participate in site meetings and support on-site coordination as required.
  • Update and manage internal tracking tools to ensure accurate project oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in design coordination, architecture, or interiors.
  • Experience working on luxury hospitality, resort, or branded residences projects is preferred.
  • Familiarity with project delivery and technical services processes within a hotel operator or design consultancy.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam Revu and project management tools is desirable.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Culturally sensitive, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be eligible to work in the UAE and willing to travel as required.
