Director of Marketing Communications - Aman Nai Lert Bangkok
Location Overview Join our team in Aman Nai Lert. Amid the skyscrapers of central Bangkok, Thailand’s first urban Aman hotel and residences will rise from the verdant sanctuary that is Nai Lert Park. Responsibilities
- In liaison with Corporate PR/Marketing, be the point of contact for Hotel media enquiries and respond to all requests in an efficient and timely manner.
- To promote and safeguard the Resort brand image through ensuring a positive, consistent and accurate representation at all times – externally and internally within the organization.
- Day to day management of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter etc). Scheduling and publishing all content, alongside responding and engaging with audiences on all platforms.
- Drive the strategy, growth of channels and engagement of followers.
- Develop and execute a multi-platform social media plan, which integrates Aman’s brand communications and content themes into clear and engaging stories to share with customers at relevant touchpoints through their journey and that work’s in tandem with our communications strategy and ensuring alignment to Corporate Media Strategy.
- Work closely with Corporate PR for influencer management including hosting of group media trips.
- Manage media follow-ups post trips and any relevant chasing of owed features of key messages for even news distribution.
- Work closely with the Brand Director on the photography and videography strategy for social media.
- Writing copy for social media channels and responding to any comments placed online.
- Be responsible for creative press release writing and in sourcing newsworthy information for press on new promotions and stories, ensuring Corporate Marketing are aware of wider newsworthy stories.
- Overseeing weekly and monthly social and media reporting and delivering reports to a variety of functions including Corporate office.
- Constant competitor analysis, keeping ahead of travel trends, destination news and current trends across social media marketing, including the tools and technology used to improve communications with customers.
- Be responsible for the property PR/Marketing budget.
- Management of the online reputation of the Resort using Revinate and provide property responses as appropriate.
- Responsible for design of all on-property materials, in accordance with Aman brand guidelines and templates.
- Source print production suppliers to achieve optimum balance of quality and cost.
- Source compelling news and stories to feed campaigns and promotions across channels.
- Manage all copywriting for the property (internal and outsourced).
- Establish how local marketing initiatives in Phuket can drive F&B and Spa revenues.
- Establishing a network of vendors in-market – graphic designers, copywriters, photographers.
- Drive travel trade marketing efforts in support of Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, collaborating with the sales team.
- Manage the CMS of the Aman Nai Lert Bangkok website to ensure content is updated across languages.
- Support property and Corporate teams with the Villa rental strategy, including reservations aids and website content.
- Review how MICE, Celebrations and Families verticals can be enhanced for the property, targeting these specific segments.
Qualifications
- Proven background in Social Media / Marketing
- Advanced Photography, video and Photoshop skills plus Microsoft Office
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills required including fluent English – written and verbal
- Sociable and amiable – ability to develop relationships quickly both internally and externally
- Experience of working in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment with competing deadlines and priorities
- Natural flair for all things social with an eye on new innovations and technically savvy
- Exceptional storytelling ability and creative skills
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Instagram Stories Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube)
- Highly organised and driven with meticulous attention to detail
