OVERVIEW Aman is seeking a forward-thinking Graphic Designer (Product Development) to play a crucial role in shaping our visual identity for new product launches and packaging across our expanding luxury portfolio. This role focuses on the design and development of packaging, product identity, and brand materials, ensuring each product reflects Aman Essential’s commitment to quality, sophistication, and innovation. The Graphic Designer will bring concepts to life, managing projects from ideation to final production, while collaborating closely with product, brand, and property teams to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.

The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing creative strategy with execution, ensuring that all designs align with Aman’s brand ethos and aesthetic standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES New Product Development & Packaging:

  • Drive design development for new product lines, with a focus on packaging that reflects our luxury brand values.
  • Conceptualize and execute packaging, labels, and product-related materials, with consideration for material selection, sustainability, and consumer appeal.
  • Oversee print and packaging production, including color proofing, sample proofing, and quality checks.
  • Stay updated on trends and innovations in luxury packaging and materials, providing insights that inform Aman’s packaging strategies.

Collaborative Product Ideation:

  • Partner with product development, marketing, and property teams to ensure alignment on design, messaging, and target market insights for new launches.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative concept development for upcoming products and packaging projects.

Project Management & Coordination:

  • Manage end-to-end product and packaging design projects, meeting timelines and quality standards.
  • Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and production partners, ensuring all project specifications are met and delivered within budget.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in product and packaging design, layout, and typography.
  • Previous experience in luxury lifestyle, travel, or beauty industries, with an understanding of the high-end market and consumer.
  • A curated network of trusted packaging suppliers, printers, designers, and production partners.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CS (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom, XD) and Microsoft Office 365 Suite; additional skills in CAD or 3D modeling software are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills, with experience in managing multiple product design projects from concept to production.
  • Ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple formats and materials, from packaging to digital.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach to design challenges, with the ability to think creatively within constraints.
