Position Member of the New Business Promotion Team Department Business Development

As a member of the New Business Promotion Team, we promote multiple new business projects in collaboration with external partner companies (tech companies, startups, etc.) in Japan and overseas.

Main Duties

• For new digital-related business projects, you will carry out the following tasks: — Identify new business opportunities to adopt new event technology in Japan. — Develop brand partnership proposals and pitch to new clients (brands, sponsors, events, and platform/technology partners) to achieve revenue goals. — Customize pitches for partner discussions and support their marketing plans. — Lead negotiations and manage relationships with key accounts (brands, events, hospitality businesses, and official tourism board organizations). — Generate regular status reports (pipelines, forecasts, action plans) for leadership. — Track KPIs, measure and analyze results, and propose improvement actions. — Work cross-functionally (finance, legal, marketing, ASICS Apps) to ensure smooth delivery. — Represent ASICS at industry events in Japan, if needed.

Eligibility

• At least 4 years of work experience in business development, partnerships (sports, media, event, tech, or related), with demonstrated success in revenue generation.
• Strong network across brands/sponsors/events hospitality or media ecosystems.
• Understanding of the Japan events business landscape.
• Communication skills (Japanese and English are required) to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including domestic and international partners.
• A proactive sports mindset, exhibiting resilience and endurance.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• MBA or related higher education degree (business, marketing, etc.).
• Experience working in startup or high-growth environments.
• Familiarity with AI and event technology.
• Bands: S-Band or P-Band.
