Where you come in Beatport is looking for a driven and well-connected Business Developer to join our growing Beatport Tickets team, working part-time, 20 Hours per week (at least 1 day per week working from our office in London). This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the UK electronic music scene, a strong network within the live events and clubbing ecosystem, and a passion for helping promoters thrive through innovative ticketing solutions.
You’ll act as the local face and voice of Beatport Tickets in the UK, helping us identify opportunities and build partnerships that matter. Reporting to the Head of Ticketing and working closely with other teams across The Beatport Group, you’ll play a key role in expanding our presence in one of the world’s most important nightlife markets.
This is a part-time role (20 hours per week) with flexible working hours and high autonomy, ideal for a self-starting individual already embedded in the UK nightlife industry.
As Business Developer – Beatport Tickets, you’ll be responsible for:
Market Research & Lead Generation
- Collect and synthesize intelligence on the UK club and festival market
- Identify, qualify, and maintain a pipeline of electronic music event promoters, festivals and venues across the UK
- Monitor trends, key players, and regional dynamics within the UK events ecosystem
Sales & Partnership Development
- Present and position Beatport Tickets as a leading solution for electronic music events
- Build and maintain relationships with promoters and venues to secure ticketing partnerships
- Develop tailored business proposals and close commercial agreements
- Represent Beatport Tickets at industry events, meetings, and showcases
Coordination & Strategic Input
- Align with the Head of Ticketing on sales targets, growth strategy, and prioritization
- Collaborate with marketing, content, and brand teams to support local partner campaigns
- Feed UK market insights back into the global Beatport Tickets roadmap
- Help activate cross-platform opportunities with Beatport’s other services (e.g. Beatportal, LabelBase, etc.)
As Business Developer – Beatport Tickets, you will require
- Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or ticketing sales
- Deep understanding of ticketing platforms and the needs of promoters and venues
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively, and drive results in a part-time setup
- Passion for electronic music and alignment with Beatport’s mission and culture
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
Nice to have
- Previous experience at a ticketing company, event brand, club, or agency
- Familiarity with CRM tools and lead management systems
- Understanding of digital marketing and audience engagement in nightlife
- Strong network within the UK electronic music, nightlife, and event promotion scene
Compensation £35,000 GBP per annum (Full-time equivalent)
