Where you come in Working as part of Beatport’s Information Technology (IT) Team, whose primary function is to manage internal company IT systems, user accounts and end user computing while providing support to The Beatport Group employees. You will be responsible for working closely and regularly with our additional IT members in Berlin and LA, while providing internal employee systems support, daily systems operations, as well as hardware and software support, and basic networking support.
This is a relationship position that requires excellent verbal and written communication and customer support skills. You will need to be able to analyse situations easily to be able to provide solutions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in both customer facing and systems support positions.
This role will be based in our London office working hybrid so applicants must be physically located within a reasonable commute of Farringdon and require the eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
As an IT Associate you will be responsible for
- Configuring, securing and maintaining employee computer systems and accounts.
- Using your problem-solving abilities to quickly address and resolve technical issues.
- Implementing and enforcing corporate IT policies at the local level.
- Regularly auditing all technology hardware including computers, storage and network equipment.
- Handling all aspects of internal networking, including wifi, cable patching and network diagramming.
- Learning new IT systems through a combination of self discovery and scheduled training.
- Participating in larger technology initiatives with Technology management.
- Providing regular updates to management and technology teams on the status of IT operations.
As an IT Associate you will need to be
- Experienced as An Apple professional with advanced knowledge of macOS, related systems, and hardware products
- Experienced with Windows OS, including management via AD and MDM solutions like Intune.
- Experienced managing equipment logistics for a hybrid remote/office workforce
- An exceptional listener and learner who is committed to growing their technical capabilities
- A strong and confident communicator that can effectively diffuse stressful technical situations
- Experienced in configuring, testing, deploying and managing hardware and software for a medium sized staff
- Knowledgeable with OS X, Windows 10/11, Jamf MDM Solutions, Microsoft InTune, Google Workspace Admin, Microsoft O365, Okta and Atlassian Products.
- Comfortable in a CLI environment for occasional legacy device management
- Experienced with equipment purchasing, provisioning and deployment.
- Experienced with deploying and managing EDR, IDP & AV solutions like Cloudstrike, Sentinel One and Carbon Black.
- Experienced with End User back-up and restore or recovery support, via Backblaze.
- Fluent in English.
It would be beneficial if you have experience with:
- Ubiquiti Unifi controllers and hardware
- Communication platforms such as Slack, Zoom and RingCentral Products.
- Support desk and ticketing systems like Jira and/or Zendesk.
- Compliance and security processes
