Key Account Manager Wholesale And Marketplaces
Cecilie Bahnsen is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee the wholesale and marketplace business development, as well as brand positioning across all product categories. This position, reporting to the Head of Sales and Business Development, is located at the headquarters in Copenhagen. The role will be responsible for brand management, operations, profitability, and sell-in and sell-out performance in respective key accounts.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Business Management
- Develop business plans to drive growth in new and existing accounts.
- Build and maintain consistent communication with accounts, both buying office and physical stores, to deepen understanding of market trends and demographic needs.
- Anticipate short-term and long-term business changes and successfully implement strategies accordingly.
- Ensure optimal brand presence online & in-store visual merchandising
- Work closely with all departments at Cecilie Bahnsen on aspects such as merchandising, marketing, deliveries, global RRPs, and markdowns.
- Conduct seasonal collection trainings and other sell-through promoting activities to ensure strong EOS results.
- Assist in order management, logistics, and accounts receivable when needed.
- Overseeing wholesale interns.
Reporting & Analysis
- Track selling on a weekly and monthly basis and provide consistent reporting to ensure high profitability for key accounts
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Market preparation analysis – OTB, sales, inventory, on-order, best sellers etc.
- Responsible for the seasonal result analysis from the sales campaigns
Market Support
- Plan and lead sell-in showroom appointments
- Assess and influence buys based on business trends and design guidelines
- Ensure orders are placed on time
WHO YOU ARE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fashion wholesale, particularly in the luxury sector, with strong international tier 1 account relationships.
- Strong sales mindset and aptitude for exceeding sales targets.
- Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills.
- Advanced analytical abilities and proficiency in retail math
- Excellent influencing and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, capable of prioritizing tasks and operating efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Effective team player.
- Willingness to travel and foster new relationships.
