Jewelry Creative Director
We are partnering with a jewelry brand to find a highly experienced Creative Director to serve as the essential creative bridge between our celebrity creative partner and the brand owner. Your core mission will be to translate their shared vision into a cohesive, commercially viable, and luxury-grade brand universe across jewellery design, branding, and visual identity.
The Creative Director will not replace or override the celebrity’s creative input. Instead, they will shape, refine, and operationalize that vision, ensuring consistency, excellence, and scalability across all touchpoints.
This role combines high-level creative leadership with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can both set direction and build systems, teams, and processes to deliver at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
1. Celebrity Vision Translation & Creative Stewardship
- Act as the primary creative interpreter of the celebrity’s vision, values, and aesthetic
- Translate abstract ideas, references, moods, and cultural cues into clear creative direction
- Ensure the celebrity’s input is consistently reflected across jewellery, branding, and campaigns
- Provide structure, refinement, and feasibility without diluting creative intent
2. Jewellery Creative Direction
- Lead the creative direction of all jewellery collections
- Define design language, motifs, materials, gemstone use, proportions, and finishing standards
- Work closely with design, CAD, and production teams to ensure designs are on-brand and manufacturable
3. Brand & Visual Identity Leadership
- Own and evolve the brand’s visual and creative universe, including: - Brand identity and storytelling - Campaign direction - Lookbooks, packaging, and retail presentation
- Ensure coherence across digital, physical, and experiential touchpoints
- Maintain a luxury standard aligned with high-end global jewellery maisons
4. Team Leadership & Creative Execution
- Build, lead, and manage a multidisciplinary creative team (designers, brand, content, external partners)
- Set clear creative briefs, timelines, and quality benchmarks
- Ensure ideas move from concept to execution with speed and precision
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production, marketing, and leadership teams
5. Quality Control & Brand Consistency
- Act as the final creative gatekeeper across jewellery and brand outputs
- Ensure consistency across collections, campaigns, and collaborations
- Uphold craftsmanship, detail, and storytelling at every level
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 8–12+ years in creative leadership roles, ideally within luxury, fashion, or jewellery
- Proven experience directing both product design and brand/visual identity
- Strong understanding of jewellery design, materials, and manufacturing constraints
- Experience working with high-profile talent, founders, or creative partners
- Exceptional ability to translate vision into executable creative systems
- Comfortable leading teams while remaining deeply hands-on when required
- Strong cultural sensitivity and understanding of global luxury aesthetics
- Location & Engagement This role begins as a remote, project-based engagement. For the right candidate, it is designed to transition into a full-time position based in Hong Kong, with comprehensive relocation and work visa sponsorship provided, subject to a successful initial collaboration.
