Position Overview
As part of our expansion, we are launching a new office (named “The Studio”) in Central, Hong Kong. This will serve as the first dedicated e-commerce hub for founders and operators in the city. The vision is to create a space that brings together the best e-commerce & DTC founders, operators, and creative teams in a collaborative environment designed for building, learning, and scaling in the DTC space.
This will be a membership-based program where individuals can apply for access on a monthly fee basis to enjoy our curated community, workspace, and shared resources. We’re hiring a Head of Office to lead this initiative from the ground up, including oversight of construction and fit-out, day-to-day operational management, and shaping the environment and experience of the space. The position is based in Hong Kong and will require daily in-person attendance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the setup and completion of the physical space, coordinating with contractors, designers, and vendors.
- Manage daily operations of the office, including opening/closing routines, maintenance, supplies, and vendor management.
- Act as the main point of contact for members and guests, ensuring the space is well-run, organized, and welcoming.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth scheduling, usage, and upkeep of the space.
- Liaise on logistics, scheduling, marketing support, and content related to the space.
- Maintain a clear system for bookings, visitor access, and space usage policies.
- Support the team in evaluating new opportunities for partnerships, events, or space improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management, operations, hospitality, or events.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable managing logistics and working with external vendors.
- Experience in a client-facing or community-facing role.
- Based in Hong Kong and able to be physically present in the space Monday–Friday.
- Must speak Cantonese (bonus: Mandarin).
- Proficient in project management via Notion.
- Proficient in AI tools.
- Bonus: Familiarity with the e-commerce or creative/startup sectors.
