The Fashion Trust U.S. Financial Grant Award offers free applications for designers, with a deadline of December 1, 2025.
Eligibility & Categories Applicants must be U.S. citizens or non-citizens with a business based and registered in the U.S. Designers can apply more than once.
Eligible categories include
- Ready-to-Wear (RTW): Genderless
- Jewelry: Fine Jewelry/Fashion Jewelry, genderless
- Accessories: Includes hats, shoes, bags, gloves, socks, scarves, belts, etc.
- Graduate Award: For graduates from 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Design businesses must have been in operation for 2-7 years, except for Graduate Award applicants.
Awards & Benefits Sixteen finalists will be selected, with five winners receiving financial grants. All winners also receive a one-year mentorship program covering budgeting, business strategy, digital marketing, merchandising, and overall growth support.
The program also provides:
- Global Press: Exposure and worldwide recognition.
- Community & Network: All 16 finalists join a community within the fashion, business, and entertainment industries.
Application & Selection Process Applicants must complete a simple online form. Submissions will be reviewed after the December 1, 2025 deadline.
- January 2026: Four finalists are announced from each category (Ready-to-Wear, Accessories, Jewelry, Graduate), totaling 16 finalists.
- April 2026: Finalists present their collections to the Fashion Trust U.S. panel.
- Voting: Judges vote to select the winning designers.
Awards Ceremony A winner is chosen for each of the four categories, plus an additional Sustainability Award, totaling five awards. The ceremony is attended by finalists, patrons, board members, and invited guests.
