Marketing & E-Commerce Intern
GAUGE81 (pronounced go-sh eighty-one), founded in Amsterdam by Colombian-born Monika Silva, is a proud celebration of two cultures. Specializing in versatile occasion wear, GAUGE81 offers a sophisticated and contemporary approach to dressing, combining bold Latin American flair with sleek European minimalism. Each piece is crafted to make a statement, embracing the power of an outfit to transform and empower the wearer. Our activities include everything from the design, sourcing and manufacturing of the collections as well as marketing and PR. Our clients include Net a Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, Revolve and Browns Fashion.
As an intern you will perform the following tasks
- Supporting a wide range of activities around our website content management and products
- Supporting product launches on site
- Review website imagery and resize when necessary
- Pack and ship out all webshop orders
- Handeling customer care requests
- Respond to press requests and ship out selections
- Supporting with order management for our big online partners like Zalando and Rue La La
- Being responsible for the right product information and imagery at our online platforms
- Supporting with the planning of model photoshoots
- Working closely with content producer and creative manager to ensure all photography assets are organized and ready to be uploaded to various platforms
- Create sales presentations / look books
- Support with the design and creation of newsletter
- Assist with social media planning
- Be ready to support the other teams by taking on any ad-hoc task
Furthermore
- You’re currently in the 3rd or 4th year of your MBO/HBO level/Bachelors studies in the direction of a creative degree
- Knowledge of Final Cut Pro / Video editing is a plus
- Knowledge in the Adobe Photoshop. Illustrator and InDesign is a plus
- Passionate about fashion, designing, photography & creating
- Attention to detail
- Flexible, enthusiastic & able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- You’re enthusiastic, independent and highly organized
- You live in the greater Amsterdam area and are available from September for a period of 6 months
- Available to work from the office from 9am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday
- Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
