Marketing Manager

We are looking for a commercially driven, culturally fluent, and highly creative Marketing Manager to lead the next phase of growth at House of Sunny.

This role requires someone who is both creatively instinctive and commercially sharp. Someone who understands how Gen Z and Millennials consume culture, fashion, and content, but who also lives in the numbers. Job Summary This is a pivotal leadership role within a small but ambitious fashion brand. With our Head of Marketing, E-commerce & Merchandising moving on and a newly appointed E-commerce Manager joining the team, we are restructuring to create clearer ownership across marketing and trading.

The Marketing Manager will own brand marketing strategy end-to-end from campaign ideation through to performance analysis ensuring our storytelling connects emotionally with our audience while delivering measurable sales growth.

You will lead our Social Media Marketing Executive, manage budgets, oversee paid performance channels, build community, and work in close partnership with the E-commerce Manager to drive conversion, retention, and revenue. Key Responsibilities 1. Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and own the annual and quarterly marketing strategy aligned to brand objectives and revenue targets.
  • Build and manage the 360° marketing calendar (product drops, campaigns, activations, wholesale moments, key trading periods).
  • Translate creative direction into commercially successful campaigns.
  • Set clear KPIs across all channels (traffic, conversion, ROAS, CAC, LTV, retention, engagement).
  • Own the marketing budget, allocating spend effectively across paid, content, partnerships and activations.
  • Forecast marketing spend and return in collaboration with the Managing Director and E-commerce Manager.
  • Lead weekly marketing performance meetings and present monthly reports to senior leadership.

2. Campaign Development & Brand Storytelling

  • Lead end-to-end campaign creation from concept development to execution and post-campaign analysis.
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure campaigns feel culturally relevant, distinctive and on-brand.
  • Create big ideas that resonate with both Gen Z and Millennial audiences.
  • Oversee shoot planning: mood boards, casting direction, content formats, channel outputs, timelines and budgets.
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, ahead of product launches, and with clear conversion objectives.
  • Develop innovative launch strategies that create hype, urgency and community participation.
  • Ensure campaigns extend beyond social integrating email, paid ads, partnerships, PR hooks and site merchandising.

3. Performance Marketing & Paid Media

  • Own paid media strategy across Meta, Google, Pinterest and emerging platforms.
  • Manage agency or freelancer relationships where applicable.
  • Set ROAS and CAC targets and continuously optimise performance.
  • Work closely with the E-commerce Manager to align paid traffic with on-site conversion strategy.
  • Test new customer acquisition channels and scaling opportunities.
  • Lead retargeting and customer re-engagement strategies.
  • Analyse attribution models and adjust spend accordingly.

4. E-commerce & Trading Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the E-commerce Manager to:
    • Align marketing campaigns with stock levels and trading priorities.
    • Identify hero products and drive focus accordingly.
    • Improve conversion rate through aligned messaging and landing pages.
    • Build strategies to increase AOV and repeat purchase rate.
  • Contribute to weekly trading meetings with data-led insights.
  • Ensure marketing supports sales targets during peak periods and slower trade moments.
  • Develop retention strategies including email, SMS and loyalty initiatives.

5. Social Media & Community Building

  • Line manage the Social Media Marketing Executive.
  • Set content strategy and oversee execution across Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms.
  • Ensure content balances brand storytelling with conversion-driven messaging.
  • Build a strong, engaged community — not just followers.
  • Drive UGC strategy and community amplification.
  • Identify and manage influencer and brand partnerships aligned with our aesthetic and audience.
  • Monitor cultural trends and platform changes to keep the brand relevant.

6. Email & CRM Strategy

  • Collaborate with E-commerce Manager on CRM strategy including segmentation, automation flows and lifecycle marketing.
  • Oversee weekly email planning and approve all campaign communications.
  • Improve open rates, click-through rates and revenue contribution from email.
  • Collaborate with E-commerce Manager to refine customer journey touchpoints.

7. Analytics & Reporting

  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports across:
    • Paid media
    • Organic social
    • Email
    • Website performance
    • Campaign ROI
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Identify growth opportunities and areas for optimisation.

Own testing roadmap across channels (creative testing, landing page testing, messaging). 8. Budget Ownership & Resource Management

  • Set and manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Allocate spend strategically across brand and performance activity.
  • Negotiate contracts with freelancers, agencies and partners.
  • Ensure strong ROI across all marketing investments.

What We’re Looking For: Experience

  • 8+ years in fashion marketing, ideally within a contemporary or independent brand.
  • Proven experience driving revenue growth through marketing strategy.
  • Strong paid media and performance marketing knowledge.
  • Experience managing at least one direct report.
  • Experience working closely with e-commerce teams

  • Deep understanding of Gen Z and Millennial consumer behaviour.
  • Strong commercial acumen — understands margin, sell-through, and stock risk.
  • Creative thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Confident working in a small, fast-paced team.
  • Data-literate and comfortable making decisions from performance metrics.
  • Highly organised with strong project management skills.
  • Culturally aware and fashion-literate.
