eCommerce Merchandiser

The eCom Merchandiser is an integral part of the eCommerce team, responsible for optimizing our website merchandising. The eCom Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining best-in-class merchandising through optimised product placements throughout the website, curating a premium shopping experience, quality assurance (QA) and responding to weekly and monthly sales trends. The eCom Merchandiser will support online business initiatives and merchandising strategies to increase sales and site conversion.

The position is based in Klättermusen's Stockholm office, and reports to the eCom Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the visual display of retail merchandise for e-commerce includes understanding customer needs and competitors' strategies to promote merchandise effectively.
  • Manage website merchandising and product discoverability through general site merchandising (Homepage, categories, etc.), navigation/information, architecture, and on-site search optimization.
  • Conduct regular on-site testing for accurate product navigation and proactively identify and correct issues that surface.
  • Manage site content, site feedback and enhance overall customer experience across site and across channels.
  • Determine and manage all image asset requests and direction for each product launch, which includes attending offsite photo locations.
  • Identify and recommend new site content and experiences to address customer needs based on analytics, feedback, surveys, and competitive analysis.
  • Work actively with E-Commerce Manager to develop and implement Web merchandising strategy.
  • Interface actively with eCom team for timely digital marketing, CRM, site deployments, and reporting of issues.
  • Responsible for optimising eCommerce inventory levels as well as weekly analysis on product sales performance to guide eCommerce merchandising and content decision making.
  • Other projects as required.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • 2-4 years related experience.
  • Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
  • Thrives in a fast environment, exhibits curiosity, decisiveness and autonomy in decision-making.
  • Demonstrates problem-solving skills, addressing challenges real-time and adapting to changing situations.
  • High attention to detail with ability to multi-task and work with tight timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills with passion for fashion, art & culture.
  • Working proficiency in MS Office, Illustrator and Photoshop and Adobe for project facilitation.
  • Fluent & sophisticated communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience in the luxury or fashion industry highly desirable.
  • In-depth outdoor product knowledge desirable.
  • Skier, runner, hiker, and broadly outdoor enthusiast highly desirable.
