Lee Mathews is an established and respected Australian fashion brand with a unique luxury aesthetic that is loved for its wearability, using custom-designed prints & sustainable fabrications.

We are currently seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and experienced Retail Specialist to join our team at Gertrude St Market. You will be joining a creative and passionate team that strives to always create a welcoming and inspiring experience in store. Experience in a high-end boutique is preferred.

Our passion for food, art, furniture and fashion has been brought to life in a curated collection of books, ceramics, homewares and styles designed and crafted by our local makers. Stunningly showcasing one-off samples and archive silhouettes from Lee Mathews past and present ready-to-wear collections.

About THE ROLE You will be responsible for assisting in the successful operations of the Gertrude St Market store, achieving sales through exceptional customer service and the building and nurturing of a loyal customer base.

This role will include, but is not limited to

• Cultivating local relationships with customers, VIPs and other retailers.
• Assisting customers in store.
• Providing an inspiring and welcoming atmosphere in store.
• Communicating styling advice based on in-depth knowledge of product and brand aesthetic.
• Answering phone & email enquiries and all other communication channels.
• Striving to achieve sales targets and company KPIs.
• Supporting daily operational procedures and administrative tasks.
• Maintaining stock management.
• Ensuring the store aesthetics are always at their best.
• Developing a deep understanding of LM and our curated third-party offering.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Exceptional customer service.
• Exceptional presentation.
• Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
• Understanding of the Lee Mathews brand & aesthetic.
• Highly motivated and driven in your role with a keen eye for detail, possess exceptional organisational skills.
