Womenswear, Bags & Accessories Merchandiser

Job Responsibilities

Buying, Assortment Planning & Trend Research

  • Develop and execute a seasonal and core buying strategy for womenswear, bags, and accessories, ensuring alignment with brand identity and customer preferences.
  • Select key pieces from Les Benjamins' in-house collections, balancing trend-forward styles with commercially successful staples.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, tracking what brands, designers, and retailers are launching in terms of new collections, collaborations, and special projects.
  • Stay informed on global fashion industry movements, cultural shifts, and collaborations, reporting on trends and strategic opportunities for Les Benjamins.
  • Work closely with the Collection Merch team to influence product development based on market demands and retail insights.

Sales Performance, Market Insights & Customer Profiles

  • Monitor and analyze sell-through rates, regional sales trends, and stock levels to refine future buys.
  • Maintain strong relationships with store managers, gathering real-time insights on customer preferences, fast-moving styles, and product gaps.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand customer profiles and shopping behaviors, ensuring the buy reflects what our audience wants.
  • Conduct market-specific reports highlighting consumer demands, regional trends, and key industry events, helping inform strategy.
  • Adapt in-season buying and restocking decisions based on market shifts and customer feedback.

VIC Engagement, Brand Loyalty & Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with Very Important Clients (VICs), ensuring they receive a tailored, luxury-level experience.
  • Offer special order services, exclusive products, and early access to collections to VICs to enhance loyalty.
  • Work with the Retail & Marketing teams to curate private shopping experiences, special events, and invite-only activations for high-value clients.
  • Gather insights directly from VICs about preferences, lifestyle, and upcoming trends, influencing future buying decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Retail Execution

  • Partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure top products receive optimal placement in stores.
  • Work closely with E-commerce teams to align online and offline retail strategies.
  • Train retail teams on product knowledge, brand storytelling, and customer engagement strategies to improve the in-store experience.
  • Work with the Marketing team to create compelling campaigns that highlight the womenswear and accessories offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from reputable universities.
  • Maximum 3 years of experience in a related job.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel).
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Team player, analytical, dynamic, result-oriented, and proactive, eager to learn.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Always curious about fashion and trends.
  • A good team player, with a positive attitude towards their work and adaptable to new challenges.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines.
