Exhibition Production Officer
M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. You will be responsible for
- working closely with Senior Manager, Event Sales to develop and drive the museum’s hirer event sales strategy for all M+ hirer venues together with other services and facilities;
- collecting and analysing market information on a regular basis. Identify potential sales leads, analyze, recommend, and execute marketing packages with M+ unique features to target these leads;
- liaising closely with event organizers, understand their needs to secure all potential leads.
- maintaining CRM record and Venue & Event Management System in a systematic manner and keep long-team relationship with clients;
- communicating and working closely with the counterparts and cross-departments in the organization to ensure smooth operations of all functions;
- managing the entire sales process with targets. Assist on event co-ordination for last minutes booking when necessary;
- maintaining good awareness of all museum programmes and communicating effectively with different stakeholders including internal departments; and
- performing any other duties as may direct by supervisor when necessary.
You should
- possess a recognized university degree in hospitality management or any discipline; preferably with 2 years or above relevant experience in event sales; Candidate with less experience will be considered for the post of Event Sales Assistant
- experience with international luxury hotel brand or event sales stream in exhibition or convention center will be an advantage;
- demonstrate good negotiation, collaboration and problem-solving skills with good business acumen and numerical sense to drive sales targets and capable of exploring new business opportunities;
- be proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
- work in flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays if necessary.
