You will be responsible for

  • supporting the Manager, Patronage and Philanthropy (M+) to implement the fundraising strategies for major giving and patronage.
  • working closely with the Manager, Patronage and Philanthropy (M+) in maintaining great relationships with existing donors, patrons and other key stakeholders through active communications and engagement events and activities;
  • developing fund raising proposals or other relevant materials while working with other Development teams and Marketing, Digital and Customer Experience (MDCE) Department to ensure information accuracy and brand alignment;
  • conducting research and analyses to identify prospects and prepare reports for major giving and patronage programmes;
  • working with internal teams such as Curatorial, Events, Finance and IT teams to ensure programme quality and budget control;
  • maintaining CRM database as a tool to support cultivation and stewardship strategies and ensure data quality and integrity are managed in compliance with WKCDA guidelines to the standard contributing;
  • supporting events and activities for donors, members or general fund raising; and performing other duties assigned by supervisors or the Authority when necessary; and
  • implementing supporter stewardship processes via the preparation of acknowledgement letters and receipts, coordinating mailings and email correspondence for supporters.

You should

  • possess a recognised university degree in any disciplines;
  • have at least 5 years of working experience in sponsorship and development with focus on fund raising and managing individuals with affluence or high social status. Experience in arts and culture organizations is a plus;
  • demonstrate knowledge about the fundraising cycle and possess business acumen. Knowledge and interest in contemporary art or the art business are an advantage;
  • possess exceptional Chinese and English written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Cantonese speaking is not a must;
  • possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and be able to pick up tasks assigned by the Authority when necessary; and
  • possess the ability to collaborate effectively within the team, and manage multiple projects while keeping excellent attention to detail.
