The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

(This is a fixed-term contract position of maximum 6-month)

Reporting to Manager, Marketing and Branding (M+), you will be responsible for

  • implementing marketing plans to illustrate the vision and core values of M+ at WKCD;
  • assisting in driving branding, visitation and customer experience which keeps M+ brand relevant, refreshed and alive;
  • promoting exhibition, curatorial programmes and activities through integrated marketing campaigns including online, print, outdoor, KOLs and social media platforms;
  • assisting in planning and producing a wide range of creative content and promotional material such as photos, videos, print matters, outdoor displays, social media posts and marketing blurbs to showcase the unique feature of each exhibition, commission project and programme;
  • communicating with stakeholders, producers, partners, editors, agencies and production houses on a daily basis to achieve set outcomes;
  • preparing marketing reports to fulfil artistic goals, visitation and impression, as well as other KPIs;
  • identifying the latest marketing trends and competitive practices in order to optimise marketing efforts based on data and insights; and
  • performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

You should

  • possess a recognised university degree preferably in Marketing, Communications, Creative Media, Cultural Studies or related disciplines;
  • have at least 5 years of marketing experience preferably in commercial corporates, visual arts, auction houses or related field;
  • have professional knowledge of and practical experience with online and offline marketing including digital marketing, social media, advertising and print; proven experience in Mainland China digital marketing will be an advantage;
  • be able to multi-task and work under pressure in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • have strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal and external parties at all levels and build rapport with team members and stakeholders;
  • have an interest in contemporary visual arts and latest art practices and trends;
  • be detail-oriented and have good time management skills; and
  • have excellent language skills in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
