Assistant Store Supervisor | M+ Museum — Hong Kong SAR, China

M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. (This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)

You will be responsible for

Assisting the Store Manager in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations of the main shops and pop-up stores;
Handling staff scheduling and deployment, ensuring high-quality customer service;
Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to foster brand loyalty;
Managing visual merchandising and maintaining inventory levels while controlling costs;
Collaborating with the Store Manager and other supervisors to enhance operational efficiency;
Overseeing cash handling procedures and ensuring transaction accuracy;
Initiating and collaborating on marketing promotions with relevant parties;
Undertaking ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Store Manager; and
Performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

You should

Possess a recognized diploma or equivalent in any discipline;
Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in retail or customer service;
Proven track record in sales and meeting KPIs;
Detail-oriented, mature, independent, with excellent problem-solving and customer service skills;
Strong communication and leadership abilities;
High level of commitment and ownership of responsibilities;
Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills;
Availability to work on shifts, including weekends and holidays;
Fluent in both English and Chinese, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
