Editorial and Publishing Assistant
M+ is a museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting, and interpreting visual art, design and architecture, moving image, and Hong Kong visual culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. Located in Hong Kong’s WestK, we are one of the leading museums of modern and contemporary visual culture in the world. The museum reflects our unique time and place, building on Hong Kong’s historic balance of the local and the international to define a distinctive and innovative voice for Asia’s twenty-first century.
You will be responsible for
- providing administrative support to the Editorial and Publishing teams;
- assist with contracting and payment processes, coordinating with other team members and coworkers across the organization to process contracts, invoices, vendor registrations, claim expenses, etc.;
- ensuring timely preparation and processing of expenses reports and invoices, reviewing expenses submitted regarding company policies / procedures;
- organising files and schedules related to book and exhibition editing projects;
- organising meetings and taking minutes; and
- performing and other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor when required.
You should
- possess a recognized university degree or equivalent;
- have at least 2-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in large organisations;
- be a fast learner with good working attitude and able to work cooperatively with others, with excellent communication skills;
- be highly organised, detail-oriented, reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently with problem-solving skills;
- be proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook; and
- be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
