Description Position Overview The Individual Giving Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Manager, Individual Giving and Membership, will support donor relations, stewardship and administrative operations associated with the museum’s General Membership, Museum Circle and Affiliate Group membership programs.
Required Degree Bachelor’s Degree/4-Year Degree
Qualifications
- Two or more years of development experience (in a nonprofit organization) or similar profession
- Proven track record in donor cultivation, as well as experience in utilizing research and data to meet projected goals.
- Skilled at managing multiple projects often on tight deadlines, while never losing sight of the big picture.
- Comfort and skill in working with high profile individuals.
- Attention to detail, excellent writing skills.
- Fundraising database and computer proficiency (MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preferably in the art museum or non-profit setting.
- Fundraising database Altru experience preferred.
- Event planning experience.
- Proficient in Spanish a plus.

Physical Demands
- Walk, bend, lift (up to 15 pounds) files, office supplies, and electronic equipment.
- Finger dexterity to pick up paper and use computer keyboard.
- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- Ability to hear in normal tones including telephone and face-to-face conversation.
