Required Degree Bachelor’s Degree/4-Year Degree
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis in Excel
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong organization and analytical skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and produce quality results in a timely fashion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Non-profit/fund accounting experience
- Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge and Altru
- Bilingual in English/Spanish

Physical Demands:
- Walk, bend, lift (up to 15 pounds) files, office supplies and electronic equipment.
- Finger dexterity to pick up paper and use computer keyboard.
- Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- Ability to hear in normal tones including telephone and face-to-face conversation.
Summary
Essential Functions included, but are not limited to:
- Accurately entering all expenses into the accounting system (Financial Edge); ensuring documentation is mathematically correct, coded to the proper general ledger account, and verifying required backup forms are included as per PAMM’s policies and controls.
- Prepare, produce, and coordinate approval of bi-weekly check runs.
- Organize and maintain vendor files electronically and hard files.
- Prepare monthly American Express expense reports for the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel.
- Manage vendor inquires in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in producing reports and statements for both internal and external distribution.
- Reconcile and prepare daily cash/check deposits.
- Other duties as assigned.
