Pitchblend is seeking a highly motivated, creative, and results-driven PR Coordinator to help execute impactful communications campaigns for our globally recognized clients.

The Role We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic PR Coordinator to support the execution of high-impact public relations campaigns for a range of exciting clients. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about media relations, brand storytelling, and the power of PR to build buzz and drive brand awareness. You will be directly involved in creating media materials, handling outreach, and tracking campaign performance. As a PR Coordinator, you’ll be an essential part of the team, working closely with senior staff to help bring innovative ideas to life, drive strategic results, and elevate our clients' presence in the media. This role is open to candidates located in the New York City or Los Angeles metro areas. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of integrated PR and media relations strategies across multiple accounts.
  • Draft and pitch compelling media materials, including press releases, media advisories, and pitch emails.
  • Coordinate media outreach and build relationships with key journalists, bloggers, and influencers.
  • Track media coverage and prepare regular reports on campaign performance and press hits.
  • Help manage day-to-day logistics of media events, influencer activations, and product launches.
  • Assist with social media content creation and community engagement for client accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams in creative, digital, and strategy to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging media opportunities.
  • Maintain organized media lists and ensure accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Assist in preparing client-facing materials such as reports, presentations, and proposals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in PR, communications, or brand strategy, ideally within an agency setting.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling media materials.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to engage confidently with media contacts and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with media outreach tools, social media platforms, and PR software (e.g. Meltwater, Muck Rack, etc.).
  • Tech-savvy with comfort using tools like Slack, Notion, Monday.com, and project management platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and grow in the PR field.
  • A passion for building and maintaining media relationships and keeping up with industry trends.
