Account Coordinator, Beauty

Department Beauty Location PURPLE LA Compensation $35,000 - $40,000 / year

Description PURPLE is actively seeking a bright and enthusiastic Account Coordinator to join its Beauty Division in the agency’s LA office. This role involves working across our high-profile luxury clients and supporting our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with mailers sent domestically and internationally.
• Book couriers via online applications and phone (Urgent Couriers, FedEx, UPS, etc.), ensuring deadlines are met and correct clients are charged.
• Receive all boxes and packages on behalf of PURPLE, notifying team members of their deliveries via email or Microsoft Teams.
• Steam and merchandise packages returned to us.
• Maintain the Beauty Showroom.
• Proactively monitor media, print, digital, and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity, scanning relevant articles for team distribution.
• Compile media lists for events and press releases.
• Support with ad-hoc projects as requested.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Proven experience, full-time or internship, at a mid-sized PR agency within a luxury beauty environment.
• Solid understanding of and ongoing interest in logistics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines with excellent prioritization and time management.
• Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with organizing press reports and press clips.
• Strong understanding of and ongoing interest in media relations and strategy.
• Extremely well-organized, methodical, and efficient, with strong initiative.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with an aptitude for multitasking.
