Account Executive, Beauty | PURPLE — New York City, New York

Purple is looking for an Account Executive to join our vibrant Beauty team. The ideal individual should have prior experience in a traditional and creative beauty sector; can constantly evolve as we grow and possesses superior account and time management skills while collaborating with multiple senior team leaders. Responsibilities

Proactively monitoring all media, print, digital and social channels for brand coverage and competitor activity, scanning relevant articles for distribution around the team

Compiling monthly and weekly reports for all clients accurately and in a timely manner

Lead and manage PR campaigns with the support of Senior team

Knowledge of the influencer and media (print, digital& broadcast) landscape and develop targeted media lists.

Identify and track emerging trends, initiatives,in the digital space and develop relevant client applications

Assist senior team on project management and workflow and recognize flow changes when needed

Contribute to the ideation and implementation of brand strategy

Directly liaising with luxury beauty clients with the support of senior leadership

Day-to-day support on mailings, strategy execution, brand partnerships and PR and influencer initiatives

Support in preparing internal/client meetings including pulling together agenda’s and writing up minutes

Responsible for managing product deliveries/placements/press bookings in a timely mannerHandle product and image call-ins, and compile and manage all mass mail outsManage the master media database and internal team databases and ensure it is kept up to date and accurateBegin to build media relationships by attending press meetings, launch events and any external industry related eventsMaintain and establish industry contacts with press and digital influencersSupporting the team with key launches and eventsBe a brand champion for your clients and build strong relationships with themOversee and mentor junior staff

Skills and Experience

2-3 years of relevant working experience
Beauty PR experience is required
Superior knowledge of the luxury consumer industry
Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal skills
Team player who is hardworking and dedicated
