Description PURPLE are actively seeking a bright and enthusiastic Account Coordinator to join its Lifestyle Division in the agency's New York office, working across our high-profile luxury clients to implement communications strategies to align with their overarching business goals. The Account Coordinator will play an supporting role in the for Luxury Travel, Hospitality & Lifestyle clients. Key Responsibilities • Reporting send outs, coverage achieved and forthcoming coverage and collating coverage and data for monthly reports. • Ad-hoc project work and carrying out specific or general research. • Attending client meetings and special events • General knowledge of all media including strong understanding of digital landscape and social media platforms • Manage client administrative tasks such as reporting, scanning coverage, and updating databases • Support your senior account executives and managers with researching PR campaigns for diverse clients from conception to completion • Brainstorm creative ideas and generate publicity strategy ideas to enhance PR campaigns, learning the inner roles of the press office Draft press releases and any accompanying press pack materials • Support the team by collating information for seasonal newsletter • Analyse client coverage across online, offline and blogs, and leverage added value from all PR activity Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • 1 year of relevant public relations experience • Proven experience, full time or internship at a mid-sized PR agency within a luxury lifestyle environment. • Strategic, creative thinker with excellent oral and written communication skills • Familiarity with the organization of press reports and press clips. • Demonstrate solid understanding of and ongoing interest in media relations and strategy. • Able to identify communication opportunities through a pro-active approach. • Discreet, professional and articulate, with excellent communication skills. • Extremely well-organized, methodical, and efficient, with strong initiative. • Strong writing skills. • Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint • Knowledge or willingness to learn of cultural affairs and lifestyle trends • Excellent organisational and time management skills with an aptitude for multi-tasking • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Ciscion and Adobe Photoshop
