Description The Digital Account Executive is responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies and campaigns resulting in awareness growth for PURPLE and their clients’ priorities in the travel, hospitality, and lifestyle space. The ideal candidate has vast experience managing daily content activities, leading client communications, and prioritizing overall client success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of social media strategies to achieve client goals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for social media accounts.
- Oversee the creation, scheduling, and publishing of content across multiple platforms.
- Analyze social media performance metrics based on insights using Sprout, Later, Meta, etc.
- Support managers with planning social campaigns from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with creative teams and independently produce engaging social media content.
- Lead influencer partnerships and manage relationships with key influencers.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive social media reports and presentations to clients.
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the digital landscape including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Implement general social media best practices, serving as a resource for the client and overarching PURPLE team.
- Attend client meetings and special events (inclusive of occasional nights and weekends).
- Ability to monitor social media channels outside the typical workweek whenever applicable.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- BA in Marketing and Communications or similar relevant field required.
- 1-3 years of digital and social media marketing experience with an established agency or similar role for an in-house marketing department.
- Proven experience, full-time or internship, at a mid-sized PR agency or in-house marketing department.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.
- Must possess superior understanding of the existing social media landscape including new and innovative tools and platforms.
- Excellent understanding of social media KPIs.
- Demonstrate solid understanding of and ongoing interest in social media and digital strategy.
- Able to identify social media opportunities through a proactive approach, bringing trending topics to the table to ensure clients are part of the conversation whenever possible.
- Extremely well-organized, methodical, and efficient, with strong initiative.
- Strategic, creative thinker with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with an aptitude for multi-tasking.
