Description PURPLE is actively seeking a bright and enthusiastic Account Executive to join its Lifestyle Division in the agency’s Miami office. This role involves working across our high-profile lifestyle clients to implement communications strategies. The Account Executive will be essential in supporting the development and execution of integrated communication campaigns for Hospitality & Lifestyle clients, generating maximum brand exposure through various communication strategies, including traditional and new media, as well as brand partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for managing ongoing communications on behalf of high-profile lifestyle clients and must take the initiative to achieve exceptional results. They should be comfortable engaging with media and clients, well-organized, driven, and creative. Strong written communication skills and a solid understanding of public relations are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the smooth running of day-to-day functions for each account team, providing support as requested.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for creative ideas and publicity strategies that enhance PR campaigns—going beyond the role of the press office.
  • Maintain regular day-to-day contact and build close relationships with key press members.
  • Generate media placements in appropriate titles.
  • Assist with preparation and on-site presence at events.
  • Act as a brand champion for your clients and build strong relationships with them.
  • Analyze coverage across online, offline, and blogs, leveraging value from all PR activities.
  • Conduct research on brands, products, and the industry to support the development of client plans and new business proposals.
  • Track and clip all media coverage, sending updates to clients.
  • Provide essential administrative support such as call agendas and recaps, monthly reports, and media database updates.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • 2 years of proven experience (full-time or internship) at a mid-sized PR agency within a hospitality or lifestyle environment.
  • Familiarity with organizing press reports and press clips.
  • Solid understanding of media relations and strategy, with an ongoing interest in the field.
  • Effective communicator with a willingness to grow and learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines, with excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Extremely well-organized, methodical, and efficient, demonstrating strong initiative.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Cision.
  • You are a team player who is hardworking and dedicated.
