Senior Account Executive, VIP

Department VIP Location PURPLE LA Compensation $60,000 - $75,000 / year

Purple offers a unique opportunity to lead within a global PR agency. As a member of our management team, you will be a visionary creative with experience in fashion VIP luxury clients. The Senior Account Executive will oversee the development of high-level strategies with clients and influencers, ensuring team success. You will also engage in new business development and operational leadership, leading by example in client management, quality assurance, and staff development.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor potential celebrity/VIP opportunities for red carpet events, press junkets, and street style placements.
• Manage reporting send-outs and collate coverage data for monthly reports.
• Discover and nurture relationships with new talent.
• Collaborate with the events team on attendance procurement and creative initiatives.
• Manage influencer and talent relations for paid and unpaid partnerships.
• Assist in outreach to stylists and publicists for potential celebrity/VIP/influencer opportunities.
• Compile coverage and data for internal and client monthly reports.
• Provide assistance on special events across the agency, particularly in fashion.
• Manage sample trafficking for VIP activities.
• Conduct ad-hoc special project work and research for the agency.
• Attend client meetings and special events.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• Ideally three years of similar experience, either in-house or agency-side, focusing on VIP and/or Influencer relations.
• Knowledge of key stylists, publicists, managers, and influencers for outreach.
• Experience with Fashion GPS, sample loaning and gifting, messenger services, and tracking press coverage.
• Strong understanding of all media, including the digital landscape and social media platforms.
• Creative thinker who is extremely detail-oriented.
• Hard-working, proactive, and enthusiastic team player with a passion for celebrity/VIP relations and culture.
• A solid understanding of the luxury fashion industry is essential.
