eCommerce & Growth Lead

Position Overview The eCommerce & Growth Lead will own and scale SAU LEE’s direct-to-consumer business, driving long-term growth through digital innovation, performance marketing efficiency, conversion rate optimization, operational excellence, and customer retention.
This role is both strategic and execution-aware, accountable for delivering strong commercial results while protecting a premium brand experience. Working within a lean organization, the Lead will partner closely with leadership and collaborate cross-functionally across merchandising, brand, logistics, and operations.
The role also involves direct leadership and mentorship of the digital team, acting as the central anchor for eCommerce and growth—ensuring alignment, clarity of priorities, and consistent execution across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Revenue Performance
• Own and optimize DTC revenue performance, with accountability for both gross and net revenue.
• Define and drive long-term growth strategy, balancing ROAS, brand equity, operational efficiency, and retention.
• Forecast and set sales targets, ensuring trading success and overseeing performance budgets aligned with revenue goals.
• Design and maintain reporting frameworks to monitor KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, CLV, CAC, and channel performance.
Growth Acceleration & CRM Development
• Oversee digital marketing and eCommerce budgets, optimizing spend for sustainable ROI.
• Lead growth initiatives for SAU-LEE.com, deepening penetration in core markets while expanding into new regions.
• Architect and scale lifecycle marketing and CRM infrastructure in partnership with the Growth Marketing team, enabling data-driven segmentation, personalization, and cross-channel remarketing to increase LTV and reduce churn.
• Translate data insights into actionable growth priorities, customer strategies, and expansion opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging platforms, and competitive activity to keep SAU LEE at the forefront of digital innovation.
Channel Performance & Customer Journey Optimization
• Guide the Growth Marketing Manager across acquisition, conversion, and retention performance.
• Lead CRO initiatives including A/B testing, analytics frameworks, and behavioral insights to continuously improve site performance.
• Drive operational efficiency initiatives across eCommerce operations (site performance, dashboards, returns reduction).
• Ensure QA standards across campaigns, site updates, and customer touchpoints, providing structured feedback and oversight.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Lead and mentor a high-performing digital team, fostering accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with merchandising, brand marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless go-to-market execution.
• Act as a hands-on leader when required, stepping in to support execution during peak periods.
• Serve as a daily cross-functional bridge, embedding eCommerce priorities into broader business initiatives.
Requirements
• Proven success scaling DTC businesses generating at least US$10M in annual revenue
• Experience in fashion, preferably women’s advanced contemporary and/or luxury
• Strong expertise in Google and Meta performance marketing and creative strategy
• Deep understanding of CRO, Shopify UX, and retention marketing
• Experienced people leader across multiple digital disciplines
• Strong commercial acumen (P&L ownership, forecasting, margin management)
• Confident communicator with a highly data-driven mindset
• Comfortable operating at speed and making decisive, informed calls
• Experience competing with large retailer marketplaces
• Experience managing multi-country Shopify environments
