SORBARA’S A men's and women's boutique based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with a focus on 20th-century vintage clothing.

Position: Senior Sales Associate We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Senior Sales Associate to join our team at Sorbara's. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting our unique collection of vintage items, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the store. Your interpersonal skills will enhance the thoughtful and elevated experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve individual and team sales goals while supporting overall store performance.
• Deliver a warm, engaging customer experience by welcoming every client and providing thoughtful service.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge of our vintage collection to guide customers in making informed purchases.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through effective clienteling and outreach.
• Uphold high standards of brand presentation, professionalism, and conduct.
• Collaborate as a team player, contributing to daily store operations and goals.
• Maintain an organized, visually appealing sales floor and assist with visual merchandising as needed.
• Accurately process sales and cash transactions in accordance with company procedures.
• Stay informed on fashion trends, vintage styles, and industry developments.
• Address customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support additional store needs as required, including stock, operations, and after-sales support.

Skills and Requirements

• Previous retail and customer service experience in a fashion-related environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Strong sales acumen and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required.

New York Pay Range Hourly pay ranges from $20 - $24 USD, with opportunities for advancement for motivated, high-performing team members. Final compensation is based on skills and experience.
