Art Director
TALA, known for activewear that keeps up with busy lifestyles, has been on a rocket ship since its founding in 2019 by entrepreneur Grace Beverley. Built on largely organic socials, today we are a digital-first, multichannel women’s athleisure brand with a multi-faceted growth and retention strategy, trading on impressive numbers. TALA recently opened a 2,000-square-foot, double-fronted Store on London’s iconic Carnaby Street as part of our ambitious growth strategy, backed by a recent funding round.
We’re looking for an innovative Art Director who’s obsessed with social, has an eye for detail, and knows how to make every piece of content feel fresh, engaging, and on-brand. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, stretching budgets in clever ways to make maximum impact.
Tasks
Day to Day you will
- Partnering with our Creative Director, social teams and producer to concept and create social-first campaigns and content across all channels
- Art directing on set – leading stills and video shoots to capture assets that really land with our audience
- Working with stylists, producers, and sourcing props to bring the right finishing touches that resonate socially
- Overseeing e-commerce imagery with external partners to keep everything polished and consistent
- Managing post-production – briefing editors and retouchers, and ensuring assets are delivered on time and on point
- Creating content, shooting stills and video as necessary
Requirements
What you will bring
- 4+ years experience in art direction (ideally in women’s fashion, lifestyle, or activewear)
- Strong network of creators, photographers, and directors
- A social-first thinker who can deeply connect with the brand and customer
- A proven track record of shaping aspirational content that connects
- Highly motivated, great communicator, and always ready to roll your sleeves up
