The Performance Marketing Manager plays a critical role in driving customer acquisition, conversion, and retention across Tekla’s digital-first channels.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will lead the execution and optimisation of performance marketing, working closely with E-Commerce to drive growth across our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channels. Guided by Tekla’s brand principles, you will optimise communication touch-points, leveraging first-party data to maximise audience engagement and value.

Success in this role requires a balance of analytical rigour and execution. You will employ a data-driven approach, translating quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable strategies that fuel customer growth. This includes overseeing performance marketing efforts, supporting our CRM activities, and driving innovation through a test-and-learn mindset.

This full-time position is based in Copenhagen.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to

  • Performance Marketing Management
    • Lead and optimise paid media efforts across key channels, including Paid Social and SEM.
    • Develop and refine targeting strategies, bidding frameworks, and ad creatives to maximise ROI and support global growth ambitions.
    • Collaborate with external agency partners to ensure campaigns align with brand objectives and performance goals.
  • Growth Framework & Analytics
    • Collaborate on defining Tekla’s growth framework, aligning with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application through test and learn frameworks.
    • Lead reporting frameworks to drive channel performance and customer intelligence, providing actionable insights, managing dashboards and data access, together with external consultants. Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor performance, providing actionable insights.
    • Establish and track KPIs for Performance Marketing channels, reporting on progress weekly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    • Analyse customer behaviour and campaign performance to identify growth opportunities.
    • Implement a test-and-learn approach to continuously optimise marketing strategies.
    • Advocate for CRM and CDP system enhancements, staying informed on industry developments.
  • Budget & Resource Management
    • Manage budgets for performance marketing channels, ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximise growth outcomes.
    • Regularly review spending to adjust allocations as needed for optimal ROI.
  • Brand Advocacy & Collaboration
    • Uphold Tekla’s brand identity and ensure all growth initiatives align with its values and vision.
    • Actively contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture, sharing insights and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
    • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment on goals and strategies.

What we’re looking for

  • 5+ years in a digital marketing role, preferably within a D2C or premium/luxury brand.
  • Proficient in performance marketing platforms (e.g., Meta Ads, Google Ads).
  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and optimise strategies accordingly.
  • A test-and-learn mentality with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage external agencies.
  • Deep understanding of premium/luxury brand marketing and an ability to balance commercial objectives with brand equity.
  • Understanding of CRM systems, email marketing tools, CDP systems, and how these channels support an aligned growth strategy.
