Junior Sales Executive

Yarn Collective creates natural and recycled textiles in distinctive colour palettes, ranging from subtle neutrals and pastels to deep and fiery hues. We collaborate with leading interior designers, furniture manufacturers, and hospitality clients, supplying textiles that enhance their design schemes. About You We’re looking for a personable and ambitious individual to join our team as a Junior Sales Executive. No previous industry or direct sales experience is required; we seek someone eager to learn, with charisma and a desire to forge meaningful connections with clients that lead to sales. You should be equally enthusiastic about face-to-face sales meetings and providing top-notch customer care. Working closely with our UK Sales Manager, you will be a key brand ambassador for Yarn Collective within the UK Residential market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our UK Sales Manager in building and maintaining relationships with UK residential clients.
  • Present collections to UK residential clients, aiming to meet 8-10 clients per week and ensuring sales targets are met with a healthy pipeline of projects.
  • Research and propose new business leads for residential clients in the UK.
  • Attend trade shows nationwide, showcasing our collections to a diverse audience.
  • Collaborate with the sales support team to ensure efficient operations, including providing quotes and handling inquiries promptly.
  • Receive and process UK customer orders, checking and reserving stock for clients and arranging cuttings for approval where necessary.
  • Match reserves with orders and process them in a timely manner.
  • Attend sales team meetings to discuss order delivery and pipeline, following up with clients on progress and addressing any issues.
  • Monitor order fulfillment to ensure our warehouse ships orders on time.
  • Work with clients to present alternatives to out-of-stock or over-budget textiles.
  • Assist the sales support and operations teams with large-scale custom projects.
  • Contribute new ideas for operational improvement with a team-focused mentality.
  • Occasionally pitch in with tasks beyond your role to keep operations running smoothly.

  • Ambition and drive to meet agreed sales targets.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft Office.
