Work with our dynamic Munich team and high-quality European material suppliers, coordinating German and Italian productions to bring a diverse range of collections to life with flawless execution and on-time delivery.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Research of trends, workmanships as well as manufacturers, suppliers and materials
- Visit of fabric fairs
- Assisting in the design process from initial concept to final product, including sketching, fabric selection, color development, and creating detailed technical specifications
- Developing worksheets for sampling and prototypes
- Ordering fabrics and trims for prototypes and sample collection
- Maintaining constant communication with manufacturers during the sampling process
- Work with suppliers and production partners to find innovative solutions for materials, craftsmanship, and sustainability
- Regularly liaise with fabric suppliers, pattern makers, and production team to source innovative materials, refine garment construction, and optimize the overall design quality
- Supporting fashion shoots for newly developed collections
- Regular trips to production sites
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- A degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a design-focused role, high-fashion or luxury segment is a plus
- Strong understanding of high-quality workmanships and fabrics
- Proven experience in the end-to-end design and product development process, from initial concept to final production
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- Business fluent in German and English; Italian is a plus
- Independent, driven, and proactiveStrong team player with excellent communication and organizational skills
